   Books in the list above are sold and distributed by IMC from our office in Iriya, Tokyo. Most books are in-stock today or arriving soon. The list changes weekly. Most books listed are travel guides and maps. The publishers are Lonely Planet (AULO) and Bradt (UKBT). You will also find books by other publishers, from local expatriate writers, books on Japan and more. Some history and business books are included but technical/engineering books are not.
   If you are in Japan, most books will be on the shelf at stores such as Kinokuniya, Maruzen, Tower Records, Yurindo, National Azabu, Aoyama Book Center. Asia Bunko, and Takahashi Shoten. You can also order from us at IMC. Older editions are available at our Iriya office at a discount. If you plan to come to the office, please call first.
   In Japan you can also buy from Amazon.co.jp. Just paste the appropriate ISBN or title into the Amazon.co.jp search box on this page. Have someone help you navigate that website who can read Japanese. Amazon.co.jp separates "Western" (yosho) titles from "Japanese" (washo) titles. Books with an ISBN starting with 978-4 (Japanese ISBN) will be found only by searching Amazon's Japanese data even if the book is in English. If in doubt, search both washo and yosho.
   If there is a book that you want but can't find, ask IMC. We can quickly (2 to 3 weeks) supply over a million books. Try the Google search box. Plug in the ISBN, title or author. Google will give you some unexpected and high quality results.
